Yes, network devices are monitored from Verisys Agents, so you will need at least 1 Verisys Agent license in order to monitor network devices.

Verisys supports this. You can install both the Verisys central administration console and agent to the same machine, or you can remotely manage a single Verisys agent.

The Verisys Agent is supported on Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows 8.1, Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Windows Server 2016, CentOS 5.6 – 7.2, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.2 – 7.2, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP1 – 11 SP3, Debian 7.6.0, and Ubuntu 12.04 – 16.04.

The Verisys Console is supported on Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows 8.1, Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft Windows Server 2016.

Yes, you can configure a single ruleset and publish it to any number of Verisys agents.

Verisys can be configured to automatically send one or more alerts when discrepancies are detected.

A variety of reports are available, and they can be generated in HTML, CSV or XML format. To find out more about Verisys reporting capabilities, click here.

Verisys Central Administration Console provides information on the status of each Verisys agent. A graphic in the main user interface will indicate whether an agent is online or unavailable.

Yes, Verisys is available for both x86 (32-bit) and x64 (64-bit) Windows and Linux systems. When you purchase Verisys you will have access to both editions.

Verisys is very secure. The application configuration settings, integrity snapshots and agent data are all stored in encrypted format using AES 256-bit encryption for optimum security. In addition, communication between the Console and Agents is encrypted using public key cryptography, and the central administration Console is password protected.

Federal Information Processing Standard 140-2 (FIPS 140-2), published by NIST, is a US government encryption standard used to validate cryptography modules - Verisys utilises FIPS 140-2 compliant cryptography algorithms for encryption and secure hashing, ensuring compliance with the most stringent of security standards (on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2016).

Verisys is not designed for this purpose. Verisys was created to detect intrusion and changes rather than to prevent them. Verisys can be used to assess the damage done by hackers and viruses, and to detect unauthorised access and changes to files. In this manner, as well as helping to maintain the integrity of your data and detect intrusion, Verisys can prove to be a valuable tool to aid with data recovery and forensic analysis in the event of a compromised or damaged system.

Verisys is considerably easier to use than many of its competitors. Users and managers alike benefit from the advanced reporting capabilities, and Verisys is a very cost efficient solution - and unlike many of our competitors, we don't charge for the console.
